Guide us the Straight Way. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray.
Al-Qur'an, Surah Al-Fatihah, verse 6-7

Can anyone recommend me a good photo hosting website? Webshots? Picasa? Something which offer a big space perhaps? I need to set up a gallery for an upcoming wedding.

I'm back from Jakarta, didn't have much chance to do a photo outing as I was kinda fully occupied with work, also they were a bit particular when it comes to taking photos inside their premises. You can see the sign "Dilarang Memotret" almost everywhere. Strange! So the pic below is what I've got.

Night photography is also my passion. They say the vitals in night photography are long exposure time, a tripod and higher film speed (ISO). The blur on moving objects such as vehicles is not always a bad thing, instead the roads will turn into streams of light while the surrounding landscape should look crisp and clear. Here are 2 of my first night photography trials.

Canon EOS 400D 3.2sec F/22 18mm ISO 800

Canon EOS 400D 2sec F/22 18mm ISO 400
Anyway I'll be flying off to Jakarta tomorrow and I'm not sure if I can blog for the next 3 days, but I'll be back with more photos.

This lamp has been hanging and unrestrained for ages now. If I'm not mistaken since Ramadhan, yet no one seems to bother to do something about it! Location: Brunei International Airport P2 parking area.

The Sky Isn't Always Blue
Brunei International Airport was closed and evacuated this afternoon due to a security issue. The authorities have to conduct a 'sweep' to get rid of any suspicious items lying around and eventually around 6.30pm, the airport was declared safe for operations. Check out the news tonight or tomorrow.
As a daily photo dose, here are some colours of the sky. The first pic was my first attempt of sunset after I bought my SLR camera.

When you approach Gadong area by sunset, you will smell the distinctive barbeque-ish aroma which will surely tempt you to stop by for a quick grab of local 'fast-food'. The Pasar Malam or night market offers delicious cuisines ranging from local recipes to Western food perfectly customised to suit Bruneian taste buds. Price? For as low as B$1-2 you can satisfy an empty stomach and perhaps few more dollars for those who fancy a hefty meal.
