Even with the lack of sleep, the very early morning flight to Kota Bharu was indeed worthwhile. The abundance of subjects made us regret that it was only a day-return trip. So many things to shoot, so many places to go, yet so little time. A state so rich in culture and colours, in its heyday, Kelantan was known as the 'Annexe to Mecca' for its role in developing Islam in the region.
As soon as we arrive Kota Bharu, we went to Siti Khadijah Market. A visit to Kelantan will not be complete without a visit to this bustling bazaar. From the market's 3rd floor, it was truly an irresistible treat for shutterbugs with it's colourful assembly of goods and lively atmosphere. We also dropped by another market at Pasir Mas' town.

Last night, we, bloggers from Bandar were invited to join KB bloggers in a night of fun, games, entertainment and excellent food. Thank you Arab Families and KB Happening for hosting such a wonderful evening. It was an opportunity to meet new counterparts in our very own Blogging Nation and as Marul said, the number of bloggers in Brunei keeps on increasing each day.

Mmm yummy! More here..

Today's Friday sermon was about death and it indeed gave me goosebumps all over, thinking when will our time be and what preparations we have made.

p/s: photo shot from the hip, hence the unintentional tilt. Jame 'Asr security guys are a bit particular about taking photos within the premises.

The good thing about working in the city is that there are plenty of things to be captured. Today I felt like shooting during lunch break. After a quick meal, I accompanied my friend to get a dry cab at Guan Chuan and while he made his bargain and transaction, I walked around to immortalise these images.
